Docking the ship for spring 2011, the latest collection from Christian Dior mixes sailor fun with 50s pin-ups in a bright and colorful show. Opening with fall’s campaign star, Karlie Kloss, the collection paired nautical prints and flirty silhouettes for a more youthful line than previous seasons. Closing with an array of sheer and billowing gowns, John Galliano brought a sense of island leisure to Paris Fashion Week.

Stepping fully into the spring with floral prints and gingham dresses, the latest outing from D&G makes for a country chic collection reminiscent of seasons’ past. Despite the nostalgia, the Italian duo still managed to bring something new to the runway with a motif of flowers found on everything from the platform shoes to the delicate dresses surely to be seen in many magazines during the upcoming months.

Wearing the label’s signature animal prints and seventies inspired silhouettes, Edita and Magdalena take the night in the smoldering advertisement


Never a label to shy away from leopard prints or color, the spring 2011 outing from Blumarine includes all the femininity and glam usually expected form the Italian label and more. Setting the tone for the new season, the show opened with Karlie Kloss wearing a leopard number paired with a fringe bag. As the catwalk progressed, tighter and shorter silhouettes made an appearance along with flower adorned shoes for a true seventies inspired collection.
